| To assist you in gaining a more thorough understanding of our Seals, Awards and certifications, we have provided a breakdown on each one, to define the specific purpose and value as well as a greater visible impact. |

Recipients of "The Toy Man® Seal of Approval" achieved an overall evaluation category rating average of [3-5] Stars, using a 1-5 scale evaluationcategory model, with "5" being for the best. Each applicable category for a product in evaluation has its own score. All category scores are averaged out to establish the final evaluation score. |

"The Toy Man® Award of Excellence" is qualified for when a product has a consistent evaluation category average of "4" or better, for 75% or more of the evaluation categories applicable to the product. |

"The Toy Man® Editors Choice" is an exclusive award which is decided upon by the editor of The Toy Man® Product Guide. Just as our evaluation staff, our editorconducts his own personal evaluation of every product. He has his own evaluation scoring structure of a product. |

"The Toy Man® Award of Recognition" is given to products that either have some unique key factors that have earned due recognition. It may also be influenced by the same elements that other The Toy Man® awards. |

"The Toy Man® Mom Approved Award" is in a class all its own. This is where consumer hands-on evaluation comes into play in regard to the category scoring. Moms have a skill for recognizing details in products that generally a Mom knows best. Although there are more evaluation category scoring factors than just a Mom's approval, it does carry some weight in the scoring. |

"The Toy Man® S.T.E.M. Award" is a well earned award. Education is a vital part of success in life and we give it serious attention. If the developer of a product has an advanced graduate degree after having attained a Bachelors Degree, they are demonstrating the value of S.T.E.M. They set an example that inspires others to be influenced by their dedication to finish their advanced higher studies.
