About Our Award Evaluation

At Toy Man® Global, we believe an award should represent more than a first impression—and certainly more than personal preference.

Our team has invested considerable time researching, refining, and developing a professional evaluation methodology designed to provide a structured, independent, and objective assessment of booths and showrooms..

Our evaluators do not simply ask, “Do we like it?”

We ask: What does the presentation accomplish? How effectively does it communicate the brand? Does it engage attendees? Is the space thoughtfully designed and organized? Does the overall execution demonstrate the qualities defined within our evaluation criteria?

Our process examines multiple factors, including structural design, brand execution, visual presentation, organization, product presentation, and attendee engagement, among other considerations.

We also recognize the importance of evaluator independence. Personal preferences should never become the deciding factor in an award. Where appropriate, we incorporate an independent buyer perspective to provide an additional professional viewpoint and help minimize the potential for bias or the appearance of bias.

The objective is not to select what one person personally likes. The objective is to evaluate what is presented against the established criteria.

That distinction matters.

A showroom may be visually spectacular yet fail to communicate effectively. Another may appear modest at first glance but demonstrate exceptional organization, product presentation, accessibility, and buyer potential.

Perception may open the door. Methodology determines what happens next.

In the information that follows, we provide an outline of the evaluation criteria and methodology used by Toy Man® Global in determining our award selections.

Because when an award carries the Toy Man® Global name, the process behind it matters just as much as the award itself.

NOTE: Toy Man® Global independently administers our awards and is not directly associated with any trade show or or company producing any event. We do not charge any fees for consideration or selection for these awards. This policy helps maintain the independence and integrity of our evaluation process and avoids any perception that recognition can be purchased.
