Blank Slate brings a whole new level of excitement to gaming using words and phrases. The method of Play is simple: Pick one of over 250 Word Cue cards (with 500 total cues), write the word you think best completes the phrase, and try to match it exactly to another player's word without giving a single hint.

There were so many details that captured our attention with this game such as the game Play, the excitement it generates, the quality of the components, made to last, the addcting atmosphere it creates and so much more.
Although somewhat abstract of a topic, an invaluable discovery in our evaluation process was how the Dry-Erase markers lasted through game after game with our own testing as well as the consumer hands on evaluation. As mentioned earlier, the components were well built and designed to last, unlike many other games that are not.
A perfect example is the word cards the word cards. Despite the rough and excessive handling in our review process, they had no splitting or separation on the edges despite all of the wear and tear. All components are well designed and help to validate the value of the investment in the game.
Understanding What Makes Blank Slate a Sure Buy
The game structure of Blank Slate acts as an excellent outline for progression, ensuring players are engaged through a balance of challenge, reward, and pacing. The core mechanics of the game such as story and aesthetics to guide the player's experience are well established and assure a strong level of engagement with the players.

Blank Slate has all the most important features that guarantee repeat sales for wholesale retail, while still capturing consumers' attention, generating loads of laughter, and maintaining full engagement among all players. It was clear in our evaluation that, regardless of the number of players, the level of participation remains the same or even increases!
A Basic Understanding of the Game
The game is direct and In easy to understand the game structure. The players compete to be the first to earn 25 points by “completing” words or phrases printed on a game card drawn by the current player.
Setup is quick: pass out a miniature dry erase board and marker to each player, shuffle the deck of word/phrase cards, and write everyone’s names down on the dry erase scoreboard.
A player draws a card, then picks one side of the card or the other. The cards will all have a single word or part of a word, followed by an empty space. It's important to note that the space can be at the beginning, or at the end. The player shows all the other players thire card. At this point, the player has to write something in the blank space that completes a full word or phrase.
Scoring Method
With the next step, the player procedes to reveal the answer on their card. The rest of the players do the same.
Once all players have revealed their answer, the player looks at the other player's answers.
Any player whose answer exactly matches that of one other player receives 3 points. Any player whose answer has two or more matches receives 1 point.
Finally, any player whose answer has zero matches receives 0 points. Play continues until one player hits the score of 25, and they’re the winner.
Consumer Hands-On Evaluation
When it comes to Blank Slate and consumer hands-on evaluation, the game quickly proved its value at the junior high school and senior community event we used for our evaluation.
A teacher at the junior high school shared her thoughts with us..."This game was a wonderful tool for our students to stimulate the development of their cognitive and social interaction skills."
It was amazing how Blank Slate got both the students and seniors fully engaged in the game for hours! The more the players participating, the greater the level of laughter and excitement.
What was especially interesting was how both the students and seniors made mention of they discovered new words they haven't heard of before from playing Blank Slate!
The level of excitment was well beyond measure with full and complete engagement in game Play with every player for multiple games. Some people even waited in line for one game after another.
Blank Slate met all of the criteria in all areas to pass this element of our evaluation with no negative results of any kind.

Blank Slate qualifies as an educational tool suitable for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) curricula, primarily focusing on the "Arts" (Language Arts), social-emotional learning, and cognitive skills rather than hard engineering or science.
