With TACTA™, players take turns placing cards on the table, carefully matching shape-and-dot combinations so that they overlap. The goal is simple: have as many of your dots visible as possible when the game comes to an end.
But there’s an additional challenge that may not be mentioned in the instructions: make sure you have plenty of table space! As the game progresses, the cards can quickly spread across the playing surface, making a spacious table an important part of the TACTA™ experience.
Connecting The Dots On A Whole New Level
You should strive to position your 4-dot cards so that other players cannot match or overlap your four dots. Doing so requires careful planning and a good strategy - but it’s definitely not impossible!

Matching the shape and dot combinations is one of the most important factors to remember when playing TACTA™. You may occasionally find that you have the correct number of dots, but the direction or shape of the image does not exactly match the card you want to overlap. In those situations, you’ll need to carefully consider your options and look for another strategic placement.

The Amtrak Experience
TACTA™ proved its popularity even further en route to Toy Fair 2026 aboard an Amtrak train!
Through our PLAY Across America™ program, we introduced TACTA™ to a number of passengers in the observation car. The response was nothing short of amazing. People of all ages were eager to participate, and it didn’t take long before passengers were actively playing, watching, and becoming engaged in the game.
